The Chianti Region

The Chianti Region is primarily famous for its homonymous wine, for the striking allure of its landscape, the proximity of Florence and Siena’s hugely important cultural centers, and the many culinary treasures. Relatively recently, there has been a new reason to visit Chianti. Several small ceramic producers have relocated to the region.

We are proud to carry majolica made by Ceramiche Rampini from Radda in Chianti, which our friend, Romano Rampini, established 25 years ago. It is located in an exquisite farmhouse setting surrounded by vineyards.

We are also delighted to offer majolica by La Chimera. From Strada in Chianti, Massimo and Simone are two wonderful artisans who have been making traditional Florentine statuaries, decorative plaques, and garden objects for many years.
