Tuscan Montelupo Large Della Robbia Orcio Urn
This piece is simply stunning. The green, yellow, and black cubicle design featured on this orcio is the same as what was done by Della Robbia in the Cappella del Cardinale del Portogallo in the Church of San Miniato in Florence. This orcio, urn, olive jar, or jug was handcrafted and hand-painted in Montelupo Fiorentino, one of the original Italian ceramics centers.
The Montelupo Della Robbia Orcio is 26″ tall. It has a 20″ diameter. Measurements are approximate.
