Ricco Deruta 8″ Salad/Dessert Plate

This ceramic plate was handcrafted and painted by the artisans Ceramiche Sberna in Deruta, Umbria, Italy. Dating back to the 16th century, the Ricco design is heavily influenced by the frescoes of Renaissance artist Pietro Perugino. He was the mentor of Raphael. Their work inspired the patterns of Deruta ceramics dating back to the 16th century. This plate is on the small side, perfect for a snack or salad or dessert or as a bread plate.
