Ricco Deruta Cheese/Sugar Bowl with Spoon
Fill this lovely majolica piece with sugar or grated cheese, jams or honey. Dating back to the sixteenth century, the Ricco design is heavily influenced by the frescoes of Renaissance artist Pietro Perugino. He was the mentor of Raphael, and their work inspired the patterns of Deruta ceramics that date back to the sixteenth century. This ceramic piece was handcrafted and painted by the artists Sberna in Deruta, Italy.
