Ricco Deruta 8″ Bowl
This Italian ceramic bowl was handcrafted and painted by the artisans in Deruta, Umbria, Italy, in traditional Renaissance colors. It is the perfect size for a single serving of pasta or soup. It was hand-painted with the beautiful, classical Ricco pattern by Sberna in their studio in Deruta, Italy.
Dating back to the 16th century, the Ricco design is heavily influenced by the frescoes of Renaissance artist Pietro Perugino. He was the mentor of Raphael. Their work inspired the patterns of Deruta ceramics that date back to the 16th century.
The Ricco Deruta Bowl is two-and-a-quarter inches in height. It is eight inches in diameter. Measurements are approximate.
