Puglia 13.5″ Pumo
This finial is a simply gorgeous color with wonderful details. Much of the details were added by the sgraffito technique in which the artisan applies two successive layers of contrasting glaze to an unfired ceramic piece. Then, they scratch it to reveal parts of the underlying layer.
This piece was handcrafted in Grottaglie, Puglia, Italy. It is 13.5″ tall. Measurements are approximate.
