Gubbio 12″ Round Serving/Wall Plate/Platter with Stag

This charming hand-painted piece has a flat surface as it was originally made for Italian pizza. With a 12″ diameter, it would make a lovely serving dish or dinner plate. It was handcrafted at the foot of Mt. Ingino, a mountain in the Apennine range.

Gubbio was one of the centers of Italian pottery production during the Renaissance. The beautiful stag, buck, or deer leaping from the center could easily be found in the Umbrian hills. This plate is food-safe, dishwasher safe, and drilled to hang as wall decor.
