Deruta Raffaellesco Large Mug

Inspired by the dragons, or griffins, on the frescoes painted by Renaissance artist Raphael, the pattern Raffaellesco originated in the late 16^th century in Deruta in the Italian region of Umbria. Each of our ceramic Raffaellesco mugs was handcrafted and painted by hand in Deruta by Ceramiche Sberna. This mug is the perfect size for coffee, tea, or any beverage.

As is the case with all of our Deruta dinnerware, these mugs are dishwasher safe. This mug is 4.5″ in height and can hold 16 oz. From outer rim to outer rim, the diameter is a little less than 4.” All measurements are approximate.
