Deruta Holmquist Morning Glory Pink 8.5″ Candlestick
Maine artist, Brita Holmquist, worked closely with artisans in Deruta to create designs dear to lovers of classic Deruta patterns. The morning glory design was inspired by a porcelain collection belonging to one of Holmquist’s closest friends. It is for this reason that the pattern is sometimes called “Judy.”
This ceramic candlestick was traditionally handcrafted and hand-painted by artists in Deruta. While originally constructed as a candlestick, this piece has been drilled for a wire to use as a lamp base if you wish. The Holmquist Morning Glory Pink Candlestick is approximately 8.5″ in height.
