Deruta Galletto Red 14″ Serving Bowl

The rooster of Galletto is said to bring good fortune to the home because of a legend about the Medici family in the 15^th century in which crowing roosters alerted Giuliano de Medici to the approach of hired assassins. This bowl is an extra large size perfect for serving anything from pasta to salad. It was hand-painted by Ceramiche Sberna in Deruta, Italy.
