Deruta Galletto Red 8.5″ Medium Rooster Pitcher
This ceramic rooster, or chicken, pitcher was handcrafted and painted by the artists in Deruta, Italy. This rooster pitcher is dishwasher safe and safe to use for beverages. It also makes a lovely vase! It brings good fortune to the home because of a 15th century legend in which crowing roosters alerted Giuliano de Medici to hired assassins approaching. The Galletto image of the rooster is not on the rooster pitcher.
