Deruta Arabesco Blue 10″ Scalloped Scodella
This ceramic pasta bowl was handcrafted and painted by the artisans in the traditional fashion. It was inspired by Moorish designs dating back to the 17th century. With a charming design of a spritely bird in the leaves and flowers, Arabesco is a widely popular ceramic pattern from Deruta in the Italian region of Umbria.
Like all of our scodella bowls, this is a traditional dish for individual servings of pasta or soup. Its shape is that of a shallow bowl or a deep plate. Measurements are approximate.
